Uk Bike park/torico summer DH series round 1 5th/6th May

With less than 2 weeks remaining to the inaugural Ukbikepark/ Torico summer series race in Dorset. The Ukbikepark team have just finished preparing the new track for what looks like is going to be a great race series. The track has seen some big modifications over the winter with additional features such as a much needed rock garden and a huge 30 foot table top being added, as well as rejuvenated berm sections and another 18 foot table top jump being added. The track has over 400feet of altitude drop and has a mixture of technical rooty sections, berms, rock sections and plenty of opportunities to get your wheels off the ground. he event is open to all riders and is taking place on the May bank holiday weekend on the 5th and 6th . There is an uplift practice day on the Saturday, £15 for ukbikepark members and £20 for all others. Racing costs £25 for all categories and with a swift and efficient uplift, plenty of practice is guaranteed. Camping is available on the Saturday night with on site toilets, BBQ with local quality produce and some Djs spinning their wares in the evening. Commencal will also be present with a few of their demo bikes as well as Demo bikes from Torico (local bike shop) who are part sponsoring the event. Torico will also be available with spares and accessories as well as giving a helping hand with any mechanical troubles that riders may face. Practice and sign on starts from 8.00am on Sunday with racing starting at midday. The timing is being provided by Dirt racing who will be in attendance with their Tag Heuer equipment . The uplifts have been booked and like all Ukbikepark events, we are over catering to ensure that we put the rider first and that you get as much time as possible on the hill.
